In Path of Exile 2 patch 0.2.0, a total of 5 new Ascendancy classes will be added to the game. These 5 new Ascendancy classes have their own characteristics, and Huntress Ascendancy class is even said to be more powerful than Monk. Let’s take a look at these Ascendancy classes.

1. Lich
Lich is an Ascendancy class that relies heavily on Energy Shield. Most of her nodes revolve around mana and Energy Shield. Sufficient Energy Shield will provide Lich with very strong survivability. With Energy Shield, many status ailments cannot affect her.
The way that Lich makes damage is mainly relies on applying Curse to the enemy and causing it to explode when it dies, causing chain damage, and it is very suitable for farming currency in areas with dense monster populations.

- Non-channeled spells consume Energy Charges to deal 25% more damage
No Soul Form
- 10% of damage bypasses Energy Shield
- No inherent mana regeneration
- Regenerates mana equal to 6% of your maximum health per second
Eternal Life
- Your health does not change while you have Energy Shield
Eldritch Empowerment
- Non-channeled spells consume an additional 3% of your maximum Energy Shield
- Non-channeled spells deal 30% more damage
- Depleting Energy Shield does not interrupt recharges
Rupture the Soul
- Cursed enemies killed by you or an ally near you have a 33% chance to explode, dealing a quarter of their maximum health as Chaos Damage
- 4% more per 100 points of maximum mana Unholy Might buff
Necromantic Conduit
- When your mana is not low, you and your allies have Unholy Might
- Loss 5% of mana per second
Dominion Over Flesh
- You can cast additional curses
- Your curses can affect enemies with Hexproof ability
2. Smith Of Kitava
As Ascendancy class of Warrior, Smith of Kitava still strengthens Warrior’s defense, and also gives Smith of Kitava some ability to deal fire damage. However, if encountering an enemy with high fire resistance, Smith of Kitava will still fall into the dilemma of insufficient damage.
After selecting Smith’s Masterwork skill, you will no longer be able to equip unique body armor, so the unique Body Armor you get in the game can be exchanged for POE2 Currency.

- Lead Lining: Body armor increases lightning resistance by 75%

- Tantalum Alloy: Body armor increases fire resistance by 75%
- Heatproofing: Body armor is not affected by ignition

3. Tactician

- Pinned enemies cannot perform actions
Polish That Gear
- Gain 100% of armor as additional stun threshold
- Gain 100% of dodge rating as additional status ailments threshold
- Gain 200% armor
- Your dodge and physical damage will be greatly reduced if you are too far away from the enemy
Cannons, Ready!
- Totems’ skill speed increased by 30%
- Totems use skills only when you fire attack projectiles
4. Ritualist
Ritualist is one of the two Ascendancy classes in Huntress. This is a very special class. Her Unfurled Finger skill allows you to equip an extra ring and also increases the buffs of rings and amulets. However, a good ring requires a lot of Currency. You may have to POE 2 Currency buy to exchange for a good ring.
In battle, Ritualist can obtain monster affixes to enhance themselves. This is a very special effect, which may be very effective in trials. Ritualist is a somewhat complex Ascendancy classes. After research, her potential must be very large.

5. Amazon

Predatory Instinct
- Reveal the weaknesses of rare and unique enemies
- Deal 50% more damage to enemies with exposed weaknesses
- Move 20% faster when an enemy with exposed weaknesses is in front of you
- Ability speed increases by 40% when an enemy with exposed weaknesses is in front of you
Elemental Infusion
- Grants skill: Infuse Weapon
- When you spend a Power Charge, trigger Infuse Weapon to gain 2 Cold Infusion
- When you consume Endurance Charge, trigger Infusion Weapon to gain 2 Fire Infusions
- When you consume Frenzy Charge, trigger Infusion Weapon to gain 2 Lightning Infusions
